Rules for use of the Deudraeth System
These rules set out the necessary legal framework that surrounds the use by the public of the Deudraeth System. The Deudraeth System comprises the world wide web site at Deudraeth.net and the content and services it provides. The Deudraeth System and Deudraeth.net is owned by Deudraeth Cyf, a not for profit organization that has community regeneration in mind. When the terms in bold above are used in the rest of this framework they have the meaning given to them above. This is the legal framework that regulates use of the Deudraeth System. By using the Deudraeth System, either by logging on to Deudraeth.net or by registering as a user you are agreeing to the terms of this framework as governed by the law for England and Wales.
Use of the system
As a user, you will be able to access material on most areas of the system without going through the registration process. Certain areas of the system are only open to you if you register.
There is no specific time limit applying to your access and use of the system. If you are not a subscriber to our broadband service we recommend that you regularly check how much your access to the system is costing in telephone charges.
The system administrator reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access and use of the Deudraeth System at any time. It may exercise this right with or without notice. In normal circumstances, a user’s access to the system will only be terminated in the case of abuse of the system.
You are responsible for all use of the Deudreath System made by you or anyone else using your user name and password and for preventing unauthorised use of your user name and password.
If you believe there has been any breach of security such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorised use of your user name and password, you must notify the systems administrator immediately by telephoning 01766 771795.
Use of the internet for illegal purposes
Deudraeth Cyf is obliged to inform the police immediately if we discover that our services are being abused or used for inappropriate purposes.
It is an offence to copy software or possess certain images, and we encourage the police to act upon any information we receive.
If we suspect that such material is being used or stored on your PC we may be forced to inform the obscene publications division.
Registration
If you choose to register as a user then you will be able to access a wider range of content and services on the Deudraeth System.
Most of the registration procedure can be accomplished online although certain of the services will require you to provide proof of identity.
Your user name and password will allow you to access the areas of Deudraeth.net reserved for registered users only.
Content
All material on the Deudraeth System (the "Content") belongs to the Body that produced it or their licensors.
You may retrieve and display Content from the Deudraeth System on a computer screen, print individual pages on paper (but not photocopy them) and store such pages in electronic form on (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network) for your personal, non-commercial use.
Except as expressly set out above, you may not reproduce, modify or in any way or commercially exploit any of the Content.
Deudraeth Cyf are not responsible for the contents or reliability of the linked websites and do not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them. Listing or inclusion of any linked website shall not be taken as an endorsement of any kind. Deudreath Cyf. cannot guarantee that these links will work all of the time and have no control over the availability of linked pages.
Privacy
Deudraeth Cyf takes the privacy of its users seriously and we are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users. Our Privacy Policy Statement explains the data processing practices of Deudraeth.net. If you have any concerns about your privacy please contact the system administrator.
Privacy Policy
The Deudraeth System collects personal information on behalf of the Bodies that provide the system content and services. Each of the Bodies which collects personal information is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998.Information is collected for the purpose of providing the Deudraeth System's content and services and allowing users to access the content and services in the best way possible.
Information is collected from users through the use of enquiry and registration forms and through e-mails. It is also collected automatically each time you use the system and this gives us information about the way in which the system is used and by whom.
Information collected through the system is not passed on to other people, companies or government bodies although we reserve the right to do so if we have to by law.
Users should be aware that the information held within the system is transmitted across the internet which is an international network.
Charges
There is no charge for visitors to the website.
Broadband users are however required to provide a monthly fee for the fast internet access that the service provides.
Use of Community Forums
The Deudraeth System includes community forums, bulletin boards, discussion groups and other public areas that allow feedback to Deudraeth Cyf and interaction between users ("Forums").
Deudreath Cyf may choose whether to control the information/materials posted to Forums by users (the "Messages"), and may delete, move or edit the Messages and/or terminate a user's access to and use of the Forums.
Each user is solely responsible for the content of his or her Messages and must comply with any rules posted on a Forum.
Users may not publish any Messages containing any form of advertising or promotion for goods and services or any chain Messages.
Users may not publish any Messages that are unlawful, threatening, abusive, racist, libellous, indecent, infringe copyright or other rights of third parties or which contain any other form of illegal content or content that conflicts with the equal opportunities or other policies of Deudraeth Cyf..
Users may not impersonate any person or claim to represent a body unless they are authorised to do so.
Deudraeth Cyf is not responsible for the contents or reliability of any linked websites within the Forums and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them or within any individual posting. Listing or inclusion of any linked website shall not be taken as an endorsement of any kind. Deudraeth Cyf cannot guarantee that these links will work all of the time and has no control over the availability of linked pages.

Use of e-mail
You must not use the e-mail service provided by the system to send, or use or re-use any material which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, libellous or indecent or which infringes copyright or other rights of third parties or which contains any other form of illegal content. You must not use the service to send any chain e-mails or SMS messages or any unsolicited messages.
WARRANTIES AND LIMITS ON LIABILITY
Deudraeth.net IS A PILOT PROJECT AND THE AGENCIES CONCERNED WITH IT ARE CONSTANTLY WORKING TO IMPROVE IT.
BECAUSE OF THIS AND THE NUMBER OF SOURCES FROM WHICH DEUDRAETH. NET OBTAINS CONTENT AND THE NATURE OF ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION VIA THE INTERNET, DEUDRAETH. CYF DOES NOT GIVE ANY WARRANTIES IN RESPECT OF THE SYSTEM, CONTENT, SOFTWARE OR SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SYSTEM (COLLECTIVELY, "SERVICES"). IN PARTICULAR, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS", "WITH ALL FAULTS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. Changes to the legal framework of the Deudraeth System
Deudraeth Cyf. reserve the right, at its discretion, to make changes to any part of the Deudraeth System and the legal framework that regulates its use. If you use the Deudraeth System after Deudraeth.Cyf.has published changes, you are agreeing now to be bound by those changes. If you do not agree to be bound by those changes, you should not use the Deudraeth System any further.
